Meet Dr. Kaplan

Evan Kaplan, OD, MS, FAAO, has been teaching courses on contact lens fitting to optometry students at SUNY College of Optometry and ophthalmology residents at NY Eye and Ear Infirmary for the past 20 years. After graduating from Washington University in St. Louis, he completed his Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry.

Dr. Kaplan continued his education at SUNY for a Master's Degree in Vision Science and a Fellowship in Cornea and Contact Lenses. Dr. Kaplan has published papers in scientific journals, is a consultant for many pharmaceutical and contact lens companies, and lectures in areas related to the anterior eye. Dr. Kaplan has also worked alongside the Optometry students
and Ophthalmology residents.

Dr. Kaplan is also the co-owner of a group practice in the Bronx. In addition to fitting contact lenses, he also performs complete eye examinations.
